| Title: | The Speaker made references to the passing away of Shri Bhajan Lal, a sitting member of Lok Sabha and member of 9th & 12th Lok Sabhas; Shri Dharmabhiksham, a member of the 10th and 11th Lok Sabhas; Shri Sribatcha Digal, a member of the 6th Lok Sabha; Prof. Sripal Singh Yadav, a member of the 9th and 10th Lok Sabhas; Shri L.S. Tur, a member of the 7th Lok Sabha; and Shri Chaturanan Mishra, member of the 11th Lok Sabha. The Speaker also made a reference to attacks in Oslo and Island of Utoya in the Kingdom of Norway. She further made a reference to the reported death of 25 people and injuries to about 100 people in Mumbai in a cowardly terrorist attack on 13th July, 2011. The Speaker also made reference to the death of 38 people and injuries to 29 people in a collision between a bus and train in Kanshiram Nagar in Uttar Pradesh; death of 80 people and injuries to 200 persons when Kalka mail derailed near Malwan, Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh and another tragic train accident in which 200 people were injured when Guwahati Puri Express derailed in Nalbari, Assam. She further made reference to the death of 3 people and injuries to more than 50 persons when Azimgunj Malda passenger train rammed into derailed Guwahati Bangalore Express train at Bakharpur, Malda in West Bengal on 31 st July, 2011. |
