The Speaker made reference to the death of 15 persons and injuries to 3 person in a collision between  a mini van and Mathura-Kasganj express near Mendu Railway Station in Hathras district of Uttar Pradesh.  She also made reference to the death of 14 children and injuries to 30 other children when a school bus plunged into a canal in Khammam district of Andhra Pradesh.
