The Speaker made reference to the passing away of Shri Vinod Khanna, a sitting member of the Lok Sabha; Shri Anil Madhav Dave, Union Minister of State for Environment, Forest and Climate Change and a sitting member of the Rajya Sabha; Shri Subedar Prasad Singh, member of the 9th Lok Sabha; Shri Ajit Kumar Saha, member, 5th to 8th Lok Sabhas; Shri Era Sezhiyan, member, 3rd to 5th Lok Sabhas; and Shri Narain Singh Chaudhari, member, 10th Lok Sabha. Madam Speaker also made references to the loss of lives of 8 Amarnath pilgrims and injuries to several others in a terrorist attack on a bus in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir on 10 July, 2017.
